    Jamestown review

Time again for another podcast. This week we reflect back on the first season of Game of Thrones, take a look at the new PC indie game Jamestown: Legend Of The Lost Colony and head to the movies to check out Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

    Game of Thrones – Season 1 (03:11 – 17:38)

We looked at this HBO series a few episodes ago not long after it had began. Now that the first season has concluded, we return to the show to see what everyone thought of the first ten episodes.

Jamestown: Legend Of The Lost Colony (17:58 – 29:48)

Developed by Final Form games, Jamestown is a top down vertical shooter. The game is currently only available for the PC and can be purchased through Steam.

    Transformers: Dark of the Moon ( 29:59 – 54:05)

The Transformers return with their third live action film. Michael Bay also returns to direct in what he claims will be his final time with the series. Check out our review to see if he leaves the series on a high note.

    All Hail Megatron review

On the podcast this week we’re looking at three different games; Ghost Trick, A Space Shooter…for 2 Bucks and Dead Space Extraction.  Plus we also have a review of the Transformers comic series, All Hail Megatron.

    Ghost Trick (02:03 – 22:30)

Released earlier this month for the Nintendo DS, Ghost Trick tells the story of a man who wakes up to realize he’s just died… and he’s found a talking lamp. Developed by Capcom, Ghost Trick is also available on iOS.

    A Space Shooter…for 2 Bucks (22:53 – 32:27)

Developed by Frima Studios, this game, as the title suggests, is a space shooter available for the low price of two dollars. Kev takes a look at this game on the PSP but it is also available on the PlayStation Network on the PS3.

    Dead Space Extraction (32:36 – 41:20)

Developed by Visceral Games, Dead Space Extraction is the prequel to the original Dead Space. This version is much different from the original game in that it is a first person rail shooter rather than a third person shooter. The game is currently available exclusively on the Wii but will also be bundled with the PS3 version of Dead Space 2.

    All Hail Megatron (41:48 – 76:32)

Lastly we take a look at a 2008 Transformers comic series published by IDW. This 16 issue series sees the Decepticons cause havoc in many of earth’s major cities while the Autobots are trapped on Cybertron.

    Breaking Bad

A little late this week but we have a good show nonetheless. We’ve got a new release from Activision for the Xbox 360 (as well as PS3, DS, PC and Wii), Transformers: War for Cybertron. We’ve also done something a bit different this week. We each picked something we had been watching or playing and brought it to the table. We’ve got a couple of Out of the Bin selections for the PSP and the Wii as well as a mobile game for the Blackberry and a critically acclaimed show on AMC.

    Transformers: War for Cybertron (01:55 – 30:17)

    Pixelated for the Blackberry (30:37 – 36:56)

House of the Dead: Overkill for the Wii (36:57 – 38:29)

    AMC’s Breaking Bad (38:30 – 41:55)

Puzzle Quest for the PSP (41:56 – 52:15)
