I had a chance to speak with Matt Joudrey who was at Toronto Comic Con to promote his independent book St. Augustine published by At Bay Press. He gave me a rundown of the book and gave some details of his experiences producing an independent book.
Check out Matt’s site to find out more about the book and how you can get a copy.
I got a chance to sit down briefly with author Max Brooks last weekend at Toronto Comic Con. We discussed the research he did when writing World War Z and the casting choices for the audio book version as well as the possible upcoming film. We also discussed other projects he’s been working on, specifically the The Zombie Survival Guide: Recorded Attacks book along with the upcoming GI Joe: Hearts and Minds series.
I had a chance, along with the Televixen, to meet up with Kandyse McClure of Battlestar Galactica at last weekend’s Toronto Comic Con. Since it was recently the one year anniversary of BSG’s series finale, it was good chance to reflect on some of the pivotal moments of the show for her character, Anastasia Dualla. We also got some info on what projects Kandyse has coming up in the future.
I had a chance to chat briefly with Ernie Hudson while he was a guest at Toronto Comic Con 2010 and he was gracious enough to answer a few questions on camera. I asked him about his thoughts on Oz and its impact and what he’d ideally like to see if/when there is a Ghostbusters 3. Check out the video below.
