    Developed by Smart Bomb Interactive, Snoopy Flying Ace is a downloadable game for the Xbox Live Arcade. The game sees Snoopy jump in the cockpit for some airplane combat that a lot of people have been comparing to Crimson Skies. Check out our review to see if it lives up to the comparisons.

    Star Wars the Force Unleashed 2 (15:28 -38:09)

    We had looked at the original Force Unleashed quite a few episodes ago and now the sequel is out for all the major consoles. This time Starkiller is back but now as a clone but still not seeing eye to eye with Darth Vader.

    Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (38:23 – 60:49)

    Scott Pilgrim vs. the World tells the story of boy meets girl, boy gets girl after boy fights seven evil exes. Directed by Edgar Wright, this film was originally released back in August in theaters and is now available on DVD and Blu-Ray.


  2. Costume Quest – Social Network – Walking Dead – Tiny Tim – Ep 92

    We may be a few days late and short one person but we’ve got lots to discuss on this week’s show. We start off by looking at two downloadable games for the Xbox 360, Costume Quest and Tiny Tim’s Tremendous Tank. We also take a look the film The Social Network and the new TV series The Walking Dead.

    Costume Quest (03:09 – 16:24)

    Developed by Double Fine Productions, Costume Quest is a new downloadable title for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. This single player RPG style game story involves two siblings out trick-or-treating when one of them is abducted by a monster roaming the neighborhood in search of candy.

    Tiny Tim’s Tremendous Tank (16:25 – 25:47)

    Kev brought us a recently released indie game on the Xbox 360 Marketplace developed by Lighthouse Games Studio.  Tiny Tim, along with his Tremendous Tank, travel in this side scrolling game challenging you to conquer the physics of the tank and shoot sheep and bunnies!

    The Social Network (26:03 – 35:16)

    Based on the book by Ben Mezrich The Accidental Billionaires, The Social Network is the true-ish story of the founding and creation of Facebook. The film is written by Aaron Sorkin and directed by David Fincher.

    The Walking Dead (35:31 – 52:02)

    Lots of people have been anticipating this show, us included. We’ve looked at the comic book series, taken a behind the scenes look at the making of TV series and even got some info at the New York Comic Con panel. The show had a big debut on Halloween and has already had a second season confirmed. Give a listen to check out our review.

    Developed by Team Meat, Super Meat Boy is the follow up to the flash game Meat Boy. Available on the Xbox Live Arcade (and coming in November to WiiWare, Windows and Mac), Meat Boy’s task is to save his kidnapped girlfriend, Bandage Girl over the course of 350 plus levels.

    A Whole Bunch of News Items (14:22 – 42:15)

    Bill and Andrew get together and share some thoughts on a number of recent items of interest that have come through the news wires. We take a look at the rumors of Indiana Jones in 3-D, potential Star Trek 2 villains, casting for The Hobbit and Locke & Key now as a TV series headed to Fox.

    Fall TV Follow-up (42:36 -66:02)

    Back in September we previewed some of the new fall TV shows premiering. So we wanted to follow-up to see what shows we’ve stuck with and what ones we’ve already dropped from our viewing schedule. But this time we’ve done a bit of a lightening round to hit a whole bunch of different shows including Chase, Hawaii Five-O, Blue Bloods, Mike and Molly, No Ordinary Family, The Defenders, The Whole Truth, The Event, NikitaSons of Anarchy, Shit My Dad Says and The Walking Dead.


  4. Comic Jumper – Lucha Libre AAA – RED – New York Comic Con – Ep 90 – Chevette

    On the podcast this week we look at a pair of new games on the Xbox 360,Comic Jumper and Lucha Libre AAA: Héroes del Ring, the new action film RED and we wrap things up with a look back at the 2010 New York Comic Con.

    Comic Jumper (01:13 – 12:28)

    Developed by Twisted Pixel Games, the same folks who brought us last year’s ‘Splosion Man, Comic Jumper is a new game released exclusively on the Xbox Live Arcade. The game is a side-scroller in which Captain Smiley and his sidekick Star must defeat enemies located throughout different comic books. Check out our review to see what we had to say.

    Lucha Libre AAA: Héroes del Ring (12:38 – 27:35)

    We’ve seen a lot of wrestling games from the WWE and TNA over the last few years but this is the first title for Mexico’s AAA promotion. Featuring over 40 different wrestlers from AAA’s roster, the game showcases the high flying style that the luchadors are known for. Published by Konami, the game is available for all three consoles as well as the DC and PSP.

    RED (27:55 – 38:38)

    Based on the DC comic series, RED (an acronym for Retired Extremely Dangerous) stars Bruce Willis as a retired CIA agent who is attacked by an unknown assassin. He rounds up other retired agents, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren, to help track down the mystery assailant.

    New York Comic Con (39:08 – 49:57)

    I had a chance to head down to south last weekend for New York Comic Con. I share some thoughts on the happenings of the Con including a couple of demos I got to try out, Blood Stone 007 and the Red Dead Redemption DLC Undead Nightmare, along with some hands on-time with the soon to be released Boxee Box. When we were recording the Red Dead Redemption DLC didn’t have a confirmed release date but it is now scheduled to come out on Oct 26. Blood Stone is scheduled for release on Nov 2.
