Developed by Hello Games, Joe Danger is a game where you, as you might have already guessed, are Joe Danger, famous motorbike stunt man. We took a look at the recently released version on the Xbox Live Arcade but it is also available on the PlayStation Network.
The Ides of March (13:05 – 27:27)
Ryan Gosling plays a young, ambitious campaign manager for George Clooney, a Pennsylvania Governor making his way to the White House. The film was directed by George Clooney and also stars Philip Seymour Hoffman, Paul Giamatti and Evan Rachel Wood. It was released in theaters back in October, and you still may find it there, but it will be released on DVD and BluRay on January 17.
In what has become an annual tradition around Verbal Brew HQ, we sit down to take a look back at the things we’ve played, read and watched over the last year. We nominate our favorites of the year and reflect back on some of the other things that were a little less favorable.

Sanctum (01:02 – 15:50)
Developed by Coffee Stain Studios, Sanctum is a tower defense game that also has a first person shooter element to the game. You must construct turrets to control the path of invading aliens. But then you have the chance to grab your guns and start shooting some aliens yourself. Sanctum is available on Steam normally for $9.99 but is currently on sale for $2.49.
To The Moon (16:07 – 27:39)
To The Moon is an RPG style point and click adventure game. A team of two doctors travel to the home of an old man on his death bed in hopes of viewing his memories to fulfill his final wish. You can purchase the game or try the one hour demo at the Freebird Games website.

Star Wars: The Old Republic (01:07 – 10:12)
Based on the upcoming BioWare game of the same name, The Old Republic is a new comic series set years before the films we are familiar with. Andrew got a chance to read through Volume 1 – Blood of the Empire and is here to give us his take on the series. You can preview the series at the official DarkHorse site.
Voltron: Defender of the Universe (10:32 – 27:41)
Developed by Behavior Interactive, Voltronis a new downloadable game based on the 1980′s animated series. This twin stick shooter allows you to take control one of the five Voltron lions allowing you to shoot and pounce on your targets. We looked at the game on the Xbox 360 but it is also available on the PS3.
Rochard (27:55 – 35:56)
We also have a new side scrolling platformer game called Rochard. Developed by Recoil Games, this game hands you a gravity gun and sends you on your merry way to solve numerous puzzles. The game is available on Steam and the PS3. At the time of our recording there wasn’t a demo available but there is one now posted over in the Steam store.
