Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2

LucasArts has released a trailer for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 a little earlybefore next week’s E3 conference . Starkiller is back as Vader’s apprentice but it looks like they’re on opposing ends this time. The trailer doesn’t show any actual game-play but it does give some hints as to what direction the story is headed. It’s currently scheduled to be released October 26, 2010.

Red Faction Armageddon

Volition and THQ have recently released an upcoming preview of the latest sequel in the Red Faction franchise, Armageddon. It looks like things on Mars have moved underground and that an alien presence is going to be introduced. Although this is only a teaser, I’m a little concerned at the lack of any sledgehammer action. But I’m sure we’ll see more before it’s release, currently scheduled for March 2011.

Mortal Kombat Rebirth

This trailer leaked out onto the web earlier this week and no one had a clue whether it was for a new movie or a new game or something different entirely. Jeri Ryan later confirmed on Twitter that it was made as means for the director to sell Warner Brothers on his ideas for a potential new film. No news yet if anything will come of it but if it does it certainly looks like a step up from the previous films.

Marvel vs DC – The Musical

The folks behind the “I’m a Marvel, I’m a  DC” YouTube clips have released another one where Iron Man shows us the value on continuity in film franchises. And how does he do that, you ask? Well through song and dance of course…

Dennis Hopper – RIP

With the recent passing of Dennis Hopper, I wanted to close out by adding one of my favorite scenes from 1993′s True Romance. In this scene, he squares off with Christoper Walken with a, at the time, relatively unknown James Gandolfini standing in the background.
